Find Your Ring Size | TitaniumRings.com

Buying a ring for yourself or for a love one can be stressful if you are not perfectly sure about the ring size. It’s great to have a Ring Sizer at home or you can visit a local jewelry store. In either case, you will want to know these helpful tips in finding the perfect ring size. Otherwise, your wrong-sized ring will just end up dusty or locked away in the jewelry box.

There are factors you need to consider when choosing the right ring size. Details you need to ask yourself are how wide is the ring, how top heavy is it, how long will it be staying on your finger, etc. For example, you would want your wedding band to slide on nicely and shimmy a little bit to get it off.

If you are using a ring sizing tool, make sure that it is not too tight or too loose. The sizing tool should be able to twist into half turns a few times passed your knuckle when you remove it. Also, only use 3mm ring sizer for comfort.

Your finger size also changes with the season. There will be swelling on summers and shrinkage on winters so it is best find a size that fits well for the most of the year. One good practice to know if your ring will not fall off during winter is to put your hand in some really cold water for a while and shaking it off to see if the ring stays on your finger.

Remember that your ring size can also change a full size during the day because certain foods can swell up your finger. If you had some alcohol, Chinese food, or pizza for dinner, you might be surprised that your ring size may have increased the next morning. Hence, you need to check a few times before deciding on the right size. It is also recommended that you wear the ring-sizer for a couple of days to make sure that it is the best average size for you.

If you are planning to buy a top heavy ring in a narrow band, it is best to choose a smaller size to keep it from twisting or spinning around your finger. For wider bands however, you need to up the size a bit so it will not be too tight on your finger.

At Titanium Rings, when you order the popular Ring Sizer, you will receive a $10 Off Coupon for your next order. This way you can ensure that you have a perfectly sized ring every time you buy one!
