First to offer titanium tension settings. First to offer this traditional twist

As the first company to bring you the tension setting in titanium, we now have developed this small, but technically challenging design addition.

The titanium tension setting

For many years we have been making these special settings using the same techniques:
We tailor the setting to the exact dimensions of the stone that is being placed into it.
We create a small "cradle" that grasps the stone at its girdle (the edge at the widest point of the stone)
and continues part of the way down the stone's declining slope.
The metal is then treated so that it will remember its shape in much the same way a spring does.

The titanium "bridge"

Because we realize the some people prefer a more traditional setting for their rings, we do offer an amendment to our tension setting.
If you would like us to, we can insert a titanium "bridge" between the two sides of the tension setting, beneath the stone.
After the stone is inserted, this tiny, thin titanium metal bridge links the two sides of the setting so that they cannot be opened.
It so thin that it cannot be felt and barely even seen.
This bridge can be added to most of our tension setting models.

Ring bridging is a no-charge service we offer to our customers. Please consult us for details.
